To establish a multidisciplinary center of excellence for the advancement of education and research to improve upon clinical skills that enhance surgical practices and technologies, decrease medical errors and thereby improve patient care.

Through the use of computerized models, virtual reality simulators and other state-of-the-art methodologies, these individuals enhance their expertise in both minimally invasive techniques and more traditional surgical approaches. Across all areas of instruction, the fundamental goals of N-CASE are:
